“ We didn't actually eat inside the Tommy Cafe. We felt like having a little nibble inside of our beautiful airbnb, which was located almost just above it. We actually picked something up for breakfast two days in a row! The first morning, I had some potatoes and toast. I venture to say that the toast was the best I have ever had. I am going to miss Montreal so much just for the bread here. The second day, I only got the toast because it was so satisfying that it was all I wanted. We also got the lox bagel, which isn't something that I am fond of in general, but my husband got this dish two days in a row and said it was absolutely delicious. You can tell by the photos that the ingredients are incredibly fresh and luscious. If you are searching for a wonderful and delicious food experience here in Montreal, I would highly recommend stopping on for a bite to eat at the Tommy Cafe! Merci ”

“ This branch has a very nice interior with great food. I liked it better than the British Empire Building branch. The truffle egg Benedict has a different taste, but they pulled it off. Thanks for accommodating my request to remove bacon. Their cappuccino is awesome. I only wish they didn't have this huge construction going outside. But this is Montreal. Consider finding street parking at 5-7 minutes within walking distance. ”

“ Went to go eat here a couple of days ago and what an experience I had!! I went there for my birthday with a couple of friends. The atmosphere was amazing. The music was great, but most importantly the food was delicious . I’m guessing my server had told the chef that it was my birthday. I had ordered the Stelina Avotoast with extra prosciutto, and he made me a beautiful presentation. Who would’ve thought such a small gesture could make you feel so good. “ Had a weekend breakfast here - the food was fantastic, the vibe was on point - casual, great music.. this is like your favourite neighbourhood place to meet. A sense where people come in and meet old friends, lots of regulars, and really good food. Most importantly, the coffee was good (how I decide if I will come back to a breakfast place). Recommend. ”

“ Tommy Cafe St-Paul is the best! My boyfriend and I arrived early since our hotel reception recommended it. The service was like none other, quick and friendly staff who seemed happy to be there. This place has so many food options from light and healthy to delicious and filling with fresh ingredients. The coffee was so good that we went back every morning, the barista even remembered our orders! We loved this place and highly recommend to those travelling to old port Montreal. ”

“ This place has a lovely vibe. The owner is energetic and very kind, and the food is yummy. I had the truffle Benedict, I subbed the bacon for smoked salmon - I love eggs, Benedict and this was a nice version of it. My partner had the Shakshuka royale, which was so good. We did neglect to ask if the sauce had dairy, and it wasn’t listed in the ingredients but they got an upset stomach ache later on, so we figured there must have been dairy in the sauce. But even so, they were very much enjoying the me during! This platter was clearly very special and popular. ”
